Season 2021
ETS & EOS 2021 UPDATE

As this crazy 2020 year draws to close, everyone is keen to know about our 2021 events. Of course, most importantly, we continue to look at all the government advice, and the rules that are in place throughout Europe – the different countries we race in and where our many racers come from.
EURO RC SERIES – END OF 2020 ‘REVIEW’

As we approach December and the end of 2020, it would be normal for us to look back on our races throughout the year and think about all the wonderful events we have held. But, as you know, 2020 has certainly not been normal at all – for any part of life, and especially our international RC races.
NEUMANN DOES THE DOUBLE AT EOS ROUND 2

Following the enforced break due to the Coronavirus situation around Europe, the second round of the 2020 Euro Offroad Series took place last week at the new outdoor offroad track at Arena 33 in Andernach, Germany. Unfortunately, some travel restrictions meant that both EOS Announcer Scotty Ernst, and EOS’s normal media partner RacewayOne, couldn’t be at the race. However, there was still a great turn out and the organisers particularly want to thank all the racers for sticking to the new rules that were in place to ensure the race could take place.

It's been a long time since we were all together in Daun for an amazing start to the 2020 EOS racing season. Of course a lot has changed since then and we hope you are safe and getting ready to get back to racing.
We have worked hard to get our next round ready to go - so we are happy to welcome you to the new Arena 33 raceway for EOS Round 2 on 4-6 September. We'll publish the specific Corona-rules closer to the race.
For those of you who are new to our EOS championship, our event starts on Friday morning with 2WD practice, then moving into 2WD Qualifying. 2WD finals are on Saturday afternoon, then we start the 4WD event on Saturday lunchtime and finish up with 4WD finals on Sunday afternoon.

ETS, EOS & ENS INTRODUCE REVISED SCHEDULES

With the Corona virus situation impacting racing around the world, many planned events have had to be cancelled or postponed. After carefully monitoring the situation throughout Europe, and talking to host venues and government officials in various countries, the organisers of the ETS, EOS and ENS championships have been able to put together a revised schedule of races for the rest of 2020. Of course, these still do remain provisional as the rules and restrictions change on a regular basis and any further updates will be communicated to racers closer to each event date.
UPDATE RACE DATES SEASON #9

Dear EOS Family,
it seems like a really long time since we were all together in Daun now and, as we all know, the whole world is a very strange and difficult place for everyone at the moment. Most importantly, I hope you and your family are well and safe. It’s not a nice situation for any of us to be in, and we know that you are probably all missing RC racing as much as we are.
UPDATE - RACE DATES

Please have a look at the updated EURO RC SERIES race calandar. Due to the current situation we had to restructure the different series regarding the rounds.
Please note that all the dates have been set without engagement as we hope that from June onwards it will be possible to run our race events carefree.
EOS RD2 TRENCIN & RD3 BERINGEN CANCELLED

Today we have to deliver very bad news:
Unfortunately, the EOS in Trencin cannot take place due to the Coronavirus.
Martin Hudy informed us that the Slovakian government banned any events for the next two weeks. The press release is currently only published in Slovakian language.
The Slovak press reports told that flights from certain airlines can be rebooked on request.
If there are problems with the booked hotels, Martin Hudy offered to contact them.
Round 3 in Beringen will also be postponed due the risk of Covid-19. Both round 2 and round 3 will hopefully be run at the end of this year in September and November. News and updates to be announced as details are confirmed.
We all regret this very much, but in this case we cannot do anything. The current overall situation in Europe does not allow any plans, since no one knows when the problem will be solved.

REVIEW - EOS DAUN RD1 SEASON #9

2020 Started off with a bang with our largest EOS ever. Over 450 entries filled the sports hall in Daun Germany for what ended up being our biggest and best EOS to date. Entries from 13 countries joined us for the kick off of the 2020 season and they were treated to a exciting and challenging layout that rewarded consistency in driving. For many of the attendees it was their first time attending an EOS and from the comments we received after the event, everyone really enjoyed the unique atmosphere available only at one of our events. On the racing side of the event we had some spectacular finals. The highlight was not only the Double win by Michal Orlowski in 2wd and 4wd but also the Double win in our Stock Buggy classes where it was UK’s Trish Neal earning the win in both 2wd and 4wd Stock. In our Stock truck class it was Philipp Marzinger from Austria taking the win and in Modified truck it was Jorn Neuman taking the win. The race in Daun is always special but this year even more so as we had such a large entry but we came up with a great schedule to maximize the track time given to the racers and we were able to get everyone plenty of track time to make their time at the EOS enjoyable.
As always we thank our wonderful sponsors for their support as well as all the racers and families that joined us. We look forward to seeing many of you for Round 2 of the EOS at the beautify Hudy Arena in March.
MICHAL ORLOWSKI 2WD BUGGY WINNER IN DAUN

Michal Orlowski has taken leg 1 & 2 of the 2wd A Main here at the first of this year's EOS events, Michal fought back from a mistake in leg 1 to take it from Lee Martin and was unchallenged in leg 2 to secure the win. Lee went on win leg 3 after a long battle with Bruno Coelho. He take second spot on the podium. Bruno coming home in third for Xray.

EURORCSERIES uniting the world!
We proudly announce a new entry record with 881 entries at the ETS and EOS in Daun.
We welcome racers from 26 different nations!
Have fun and enjoy these great days together!

Season 2020
BRUNO COELHO EOS CHAMPION SEASON #8

Joern Neumann has made it back to back wins in the EOS taking the 4WD win today in Austria in A2, but the biggest prize goes to Bruno Coelho as he wraps up the season with the 4WD Championship title. Having taken the TQ and then the A1 win after an exciting battle with Coelho, Neumann had a much easier A2 after an early mistake from the number 2 starter that effectively dropped him to last. With Coelho out of the equation, Neumann was chased by his team-mate Michal Orlowski. Needing to win today to retain his 4WD title, a mistake from the 2WD Champion on the penultimate lap allowed Neumann to cruise to the finish for the overall win on the championship’s first visit ERT Steyregg. The result also meant that irrespective of the A3 outcome, Coelho was champion again for a third time and Orlowski’s quest for a repeat title double where over. With a rain shower that arrived during the third B-Main delaying A3, the astro surface meaning the track was ready to go back racing once the rain had passed, Coelho went on to cap off his title winning season with the win over Orlowski. Overall this meant Coelho split the Schumacher drivers to claim 2nd on the podium.
